WhatsApp recently introduced a new feature for its Android and iOS users called the “Live Location Sharing” in last week. WhatsApp is preparing to bring few more features for its users, out of which, one is the voice and video group calling feature. With this feature users will be able to make conference calls — both voice and video calls to their friends and family members in a group. According to WaBetaInfo — a site that tests new WhatsApp features notes that the feature is being tested in beta version and will soon be rolled out in the latest update.
The beta testers will get the group calling feature in the next WhatsApp update. This probably indicates that the WhatsApp may officially roll out this feature very soon. Some reports that leaked earlier hinted that WhatsApp may roll out the group voice and video calling feature next year, but considering the fact that the update is very soon coming to the beta users, chances are that the official roll out of the feature could be before the scheduled time.
“The 2.17.70 iOS update has very hidden references to group calls! Before it was an internal news, now it’s all confirmed. There are a lot of hidden references about group voice calls, but there is only one reference to group video calls. So group video calls are partially confirmed at the moment,” — WaBetaInfo tweets.
WhatsApp already introduced a new feature for its Android and iOS users called the “Live Location Sharing”, But now more new features are on their way for WhatsApp users. The newest beta version of WhatsApp for Android users has several updates, including a smaller app size and soon a feature that would “notify friends when you change your number” — According to technology website Teknepolis.
