Xiaomi could launch a new flagship smartphone — Xiaomi Mi 7, early next year with a bezel-less AMOLED display and dual camera setup. According to a report by mydrivers, the smartphone is expected to be unveiled early next year and could be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 845 SoC.
The report suggests that the Xiaomi Mi 7 could come with a 6.01-inch AMOLED full screen display made by Samsung with 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is also expected to sport a bezel-less design. As mentioned above, the smartphone is rumoured to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and comes with 6GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi 7 has dual rear-camera setup, both with a 16 MP resolution. Out of the two lens, one is expected to sport f/1.7 aperture lens for better low light photography. The dual-lens will also enable bokeh effect within the pictures. Xiaomi could add features like portrait mode with an enhanced Bokeh effect and optical zoom using the twin-camera system.
The Xiaomi Mi 7 could sport a 3350 mAh battery and comes with a rear placed fingerprint sensor. The phone is reported to skip the facial recognition feature. In terms of build material, the report suggests Xiaomi will use glass back panel to enable wireless charging on their device.
The Xiaomi Mi 7 could launch in the First-Quarter of 2018, and some chinese report highlights that the phone will go on sale in China with a price tag of CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs. 26,600).
