Razer has officially launched a new smartphone for Gamers with some high-end specs. The new Razor Phone aims to offer the performance of a gaming laptop in a smartphone. It’s the first phone to support a refresh rate of 120 Hz with UltraMotion™ display. Other things that will complement your gaming experience is the sound. Razor Phone feature front-facing stereo speakers and dual amplifiers with Dolby Atmos and THX certified audio.

The Razer Phone sports a 5.7-inch IGZO LCD UltraMotion™ display with QHD (1440×2560 pixels) screen resolution. The smartphone uses UltraMotion™ technology that delivers refresh rates up to 120 Hz. This means, zero lag or stuttering—just fluid, buttery smooth motion content for you to enjoy. And with a Quad HD display boasting wide color gamut, everything looks vibrant and sharp.
Razer Phone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with 8GB of RAM, and comes with 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded upto 256GB via a microSD card. The smartphone has dual rear-camera combines a 12MP, f/1.8 wide-angle sensor with a 13 MP, f/2.6 zoom lens. The handset also features an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Razor Phone runs Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) out-of-the-box with an update to the latest version of Android 8 (Oreo) promised early next year, and is powered by a 4000 mAh non removable battery. It measures 158.5 x 77.7 x 8 mm (height x width x thickness) and weigh 197 grams.
“While most Android games will run fine on the Razer Phone, around 20 percent of them have uncapped frame rates, which will take full advantage of Razer’s technologies. The firm is also working with big-name game developers to optimise some high profile games for the phone, including the upcoming Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition and Shadow Gun Legends,” said Tom Moss, head of Razer’s mobile business in an interview.
